To help EMS grow revenue in the specific territory, we are searching for a highly motivated, commercially minded, Solution/Presales Specialist to aid our outside sales team and partners. With a strong background in technology solutions and architecture and understanding of sales and presales work from an existing technology solutions supplier or consultancy firm we’re looking for someone who can demonstrate existing technology while working with the customer and the sales team to understand how our solutions can add value to the customer’s business.  The successful candidate will help define solutions, demonstrate value and develop proposals that meet client objectives.  Energy, enthusiasm and a track record of success in presales with complex solutions and long-term engagements or managed services are requirements for the position. 


Key Tasks:


The EMEA Solutions/ Presale Specialist will support both the regional EMS sales team, our global Sales Desk team and our reseller partners to develop high value solutions proposals.  He or she will support customer demonstration and presentations via webex and in person and at tradeshows and events.  The Solutions/Presales Specialist will work closely with the sales team, partners in the field to identify customer requirements and with the global Sales Desk team to develop winning proposals – selling both equipment and managed services solutions.   


The daily workplace will primarily be the office in Nærum, while approximately 25% will be with customers and partners in Denmark and in EMEA


Responsibilities:


  • Work with sales team and customers to understand opportunity requirements
  • Shape and develop superior, profitable, winning solutions proposals in conjunction with the sales team and the global sales desk team
  • Understand and communicate the value of EMS solutions
  • Work in collaboration with the regional sales team to develop and help deliver sales and solutions presentations
  • Work with the global product management and engineering team to insure that our solutions meet customer requirements
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key customers
  • Build and show solution demonstrations to support customer presentations
  • Support our instrumentation business with demonstrations and integration support
  • Help the sales team deliver incremental revenue increases by adding value to existing EMS solutions.
  • Attend, present and demonstrate EMS solutions to customers and partners, trade shows and special events   
  • Build customer and partner executive engagement around our solutions
  • Coordinate partner relationships and problem areas with local and regional customer service and support teams
  • Other duties as required


Professional qualifications:

  • 5+ years progressive field based pre-sales experience with complex solutions.   
  • Demonstrable ability to develop solutions proposals
  • Experience with customer facing presentations and solution demonstration
  • Experience working in a team
  • Experience working with multiple internal stakeholders
  • Experience working with a distributed sales team and managing priorities
  • Familiar with a standard structured sales methodology
  • Experience in selling technology solutions and services to construction, mining, transport or infrastructure is an advantage
  • Experience in acoustics, vibration and/or Geotech would be an advantage
  • Experience with networked managed services, environmental testing or measuring systems, integrated capital goods an advantage.
